Bouncebit Prime Access to Active Yield

Bouncebit Prime accepts USDT for Active Yield subscriptions, with a minimum investment of 500,000 USDT. Its strategies use tokenized U.S. Treasuries and money market funds as collateral for funding rate arbitrage on centralized exchanges. Access depends on investor qualification and identity checks. Redemptions follow a settlement schedule.

Subscription capital, custody and trading collateral perform different jobs within Prime. A balance available to subscribe doesn’t establish immediate redemption liquidity. Fund income and derivatives returns also respond to different conditions, which shape the position after entry.

Active Yield accepts redemption requests at any time, while weekly processing batches govern the scheduled return of funds.

USDT Subscriptions for Active Yield

A USDT balance provides the entry point for Prime’s available yield products. Active Yield uses tokenized cash equivalents to support a derivatives funding strategy. BENJI and BUIDL are examples of the fund collateral that the strategy can use. The deposit asset and collateral asset therefore have distinct roles: USDT funds the subscription, while the tokenized fund supports trading activity. Depositing capital and subscribing to a product describe different commitments. The selected product determines the strategy exposure and redemption terms.

Who Can Subscribe to Prime Active Yield?

Prime’s RWA Strategy Vaults for tokenized real-world assets restrict access to qualified investors who have completed Know Your Customer (KYC) checks. Meeting the investment threshold doesn’t establish eligibility on its own.

Active Yield requires a minimum investment of 500,000 USDT. The threshold concerns the capital subscribed to this product.

Product eligibility also carries local legal obligations. Prime works with regulated custodians and token issuers, while participants remain responsible for meeting the requirements that apply to them.

Custody Behind Trading Collateral

Standard Chartered holds client assets within Prime’s institutional custody model. Off-exchange collateral mirroring connects those holdings to trading venues, allowing strategies to use their value for execution while the bank retains custody of the underlying assets.

Bank Holdings and Venue Execution

Collateral mirroring separates the location of the underlying assets from the venue that executes the strategy. The system manages vault allocation within predefined risk parameters.

Onchain Accounting

Prime records asset movements, yield generation and settlements onchain, providing an accounting trail for the vault’s activity. The underlying assets remain within institutional custody even when the strategy records activity onchain.

Remaining Counterparty Exposure

Off-exchange custody reduces exposure to an exchange holding the underlying assets. Custodial, counterparty and exchange failures can still cause losses.

What Drives Active Yield Returns?

Active Yield combines the income of its tokenized cash-equivalent exposure with returns from derivatives funding rate arbitrage. The fund component responds to underlying asset performance. The trading component responds to funding conditions in perpetual futures markets, so the contributions don’t move together automatically. Funding rate arbitrage aims to balance exposure to an asset’s price. Bouncebit’s spot-perpetual example pairs spot holdings with an equally sized short perpetual position. Positive funding can pay the short perpetual leg. A change in funding conditions alters the trading contribution even if the underlying fund continues earning income.

Market neutrality describes the strategy’s intended price exposure. It doesn’t fix Treasury yields or perpetual funding rates. Negative funding can reduce or eliminate yield, and strategy losses can include principal. An income-generating collateral asset therefore doesn’t make the combined investment equivalent to holding that fund without the trading strategy.

How Long Do Active Yield Redemptions Take?

Active Yield schedules returned funds within 11 to 15 days of a redemption request, depending on its timing within the settlement cycle. Weekly processing batches govern the return of capital. The product accepts requests at any time, but withdrawal isn’t immediate.

Collateral mobility supports trading and financing within Prime’s custody model. Redemption releases capital under the selected product’s settlement conditions. The ability to use a tokenized position as collateral doesn’t establish that the subscriber can withdraw its cash value immediately.

Active Yield sets a minimum redemption value of $500,000. A balance below that level requires full redemption. This exit condition governs the amount requested from an existing balance, separately from the minimum capital required to enter the product.

The redemption fee is 0.1% of the redeemed amount and covers capital movement and operational costs. Stressed market conditions can delay redemptions beyond scheduled settlement cycles, which limits reliance on the 11 to 15-day window for a fixed cash deadline.

Active Yield and Legacy BB Rewards

The legacy model for Primary RWA Vaults paired underlying asset yield with BB rewards from node staking. BB staking supplied a different reward mechanism from Active Yield’s derivatives strategy. Following a hacking incident, the project decided to permanently sunset its Chain. Binance’s August 31, 2026 announcement described the end of mainnet support and a 1:1 BB migration to BNB Smart Chain. That token migration didn’t establish replacement staking-linked rewards or a new Prime subscription route.

Conditions Before a Prime Subscription

Entry Capital and Exit Liquidity

A funded USDT balance addresses subscription capital; Active Yield’s redemption schedule addresses access to that capital after commitment. The same investment needs to meet entry requirements and remain compatible with the time that settlement takes.

  • Qualified-investor eligibility and completed KYC checks are required for access to the RWA Strategy Vault.
  • The Active Yield subscription meets the 500,000 USDT minimum investment.
  • You understand that the position combines tokenized fund exposure with a derivatives strategy and carries custody and trading risks.
  • Your cash needs allow for weekly processing, the 11 to 15-day scheduled window and possible stressed-market delays.
  • The planned redemption fits the $500,000 minimum or the full-balance exception, with a 0.1% fee on the redeemed amount.

Bouncebit: what people ask

Does the 500,000 USDT Minimum Apply to Future Prime Products?

Future Prime product types may set different investment thresholds from Active Yield’s 500,000 USDT minimum. The Active Yield requirement doesn’t establish the entry amount for a new offering.

Which Period Does Prime Use for Its Annualized Total APY?

Prime’s total APY display annualizes performance over a seven-day measurement period. Annualization expresses recent performance on a yearly scale. Changes in fund income and perpetual funding payments can alter later returns, even when the display continues using the same measurement window.

What Does NAV Mean on Prime’s Yield Display?

NAV means net asset value, a measure of investment value rather than an annualized yield percentage. Prime presents BENJI NAV, Strategy NAV and Total NAV alongside its APY fields. A value shown under NAV doesn’t by itself identify cash available for immediate withdrawal; the Active Yield redemption rules still govern returned funds.

Is an Active Yield Subscription a Purchase of Tokenized Stocks?

Active Yield uses tokenized cash equivalents as collateral for a funding rate arbitrage strategy. Its underlying exposures include tokenized U.S. Treasuries and money market funds, such as BENJI and BUIDL. That subscription is a different investment from buying a tokenized stock, whose underlying asset represents an equity exposure.
